On April 9th, 2018, Toronto’s Parks and Environment Committee will be voting on an exciting new program that focuses on planting flowers for native, self determining bees, as opposed to focusing solely on domestic bees.  This program will also support Monarch Butterflies, and the planting of milkweed.  Comments on the program can be made here.

Toronto Licensing and Standards Committee is also looking at strengthening its animal protection bylaws to make it illegal to leave dogs out in extreme weather.  Show support for this bylaw proposal here.
