Wednesday, Sixth Week of Easter

Heaven and earth are full of your glory.

We ask to “be worthy to rejoice at his coming.”
In Athens, Paul receives a cold reception when he speaks of Jesus’ resurrection.
Jesus promises that the Holy Spirit is a spirit of truth and will guide us,
leading us “to all truth.”
As we reflect today, we can ask for the grace to trust in
the guidance of the Holy Spirit for our lives.
Jesus said to his disciples:

“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth.” John 16

From Mary we learn to trust even when all hope seems to be gone.
~ St. John Paul II
